        Flex PCBs Defined

        A Flex Circuit or Flex PCB is a patterned arrangement of printed circuitry and components that utilizes flexible based material with or without flexible coverlay. These flexible electronic assemblies may be fabricated using the same components used for rigid printed circuit boards, but allowing the board to conform to a desired shape (flex) during its application.

        FPCBs are used widely in everyday technology and electronics in addition to high-end, complex completed components. Two of the most prominent examples of flexible circuit usage is in modern portable electronics, devices, hard disk drives and desktop printers.

         How Small Can a Flexible PCB Be?

       The size of the JieTeng Electronics depends on the application but some of the key items that are important to many customers are:

        Keeping a very tight outline tolerance.
        Impedance values that can be held to +/-5% even in high volume applications.
        Gold plating for use in connector terminal applications. 
      Using LPI solder mask on flexible substrate to keep solder mask damns intact. 
         Adding small stiffeners to allow one end of the material to be rigid.

         2oz ,  Only some Flexible Led PCBs like heavy copper , the best advantage of flexible PCB is flex , If too much copper , willnot be easy to bent for your device

          How Big Size can a Flexible PCB Be ? 

       Flexible PCB Material : Maximum width is 250mm ,  because flexible PCB material is a roll,  each roll width is 250mm ,  the length is no limit , So when you design flexible PCB , One side should be less than 250mm .   The other side no care .

          How Thickness can a Flexible PCB Be ?

          0.1mm - 0.2mm , some Flexible PCB can be 0.3mm .
